Responsible AI.

How we build AI that supports caregivers without overpromising, hallucinating, or replacing human care.

Effective: June 4, 2026 · Last updated: June 4, 2026

Our principles

  • Honesty over hype. We say what the AI does — and what it doesn’t.
  • Evidence-informed. Our Pilots are grounded in established autism support practices, not generic chatbot patterns.
  • Augmentation, not replacement. Life’sPilot supports the people supporting your cared one. It does not replace therapists, clinicians, or doctors.
  • Privacy by default. Your family’s data is yours. We don’t train shared models on it.
  • Transparency. We tell you what data we use and how the Pilot personalizes its guidance.

What our AI does

  • Delivers real-time voice and text guidance, personalized to the person you support.
  • Suggests step-by-step responses drawn from evidence-informed autism support strategies.
  • Adapts to your routines, what helps, what triggers, and what your care circle is working toward.
  • Auto-saves clean summaries of Pilot conversations so your team can stay aligned.

What our AI does NOT do

  • It does not diagnose autism or any other condition.
  • It does not provide therapy, behavioral services, or any form of licensed clinical care.
  • It does not give medical advice, prescribe treatment, or make medical decisions.
  • It does not handle emergencies. For crisis or danger, contact a qualified professional or emergency service immediately.
  • It does not fabricate outcomes, statistics, or testimonials. When we cite a number, we cite the source.

Evidence-informed foundations

Our Pilots draw on established autism support practices across core areas including social interactions, emotional regulation, calming strategies, transitions, community settings, health, and crisis safety planning. We’re honest about what the research supports and where there’s genuine uncertainty. We don’t claim our Pilots are equivalent to clinical interventions.

Limitations — when to call a professional

The Pilot is a support tool, not a substitute for human expertise. Call a qualified professional or emergency service when:

  • There’s a risk of harm to anyone — the person you support, you, or others.
  • You’re facing a medical, clinical, or behavioral crisis.
  • You need a diagnosis, prescription, or formal clinical assessment.
  • You feel the situation is beyond what an AI tool should be handling.

If you’re ever unsure, err on the side of contacting a professional. The Pilot is meant to help in the between-moments, not replace the people who can help when those moments require more.

Continuous improvement and transparency

We’re actively improving the Pilot’s personalization, accuracy, and safety. We’ll update this page when our practices materially change. We welcome feedback on where the AI helps, where it falls short, and where it could be safer. Email help@lifespilot.com.

Important. Life’sPilot is an AI-powered support tool for assistance and education. It does not replace medical, clinical, therapeutic, educational, or emergency care. Please contact qualified professionals for medical, clinical, behavioral, or emergency concerns.
